Time is fleeting, and children are only little for so long. Newborns lose their sleepy puckered lips. Sitters lose their chubby toes. Toddlers lose their pinchable cheeks. Children, most sadly, lose their imagination. The process is incredible, and as parents, we look forward to every next stage. But it’s important to remember how they were and who they were.
